So I've started to focus a lot more attention on what I'm putting in my body. I've gained some weight over the last 3 years in University, stress, family issues (freshman 15 my ass) and it's now really taking a toll on my self esteem, my mood and life in general. So like everybody else, my New Years resolution was to get in shape, get a healthy lifestyle habit and lose 30lbs+. Already this year, just by drinking more water and cutting down on processed foods, I have lost about 8 pounds, and that was without really trying. I discovered a few things that really work for me, and I'm sticking to it. I can honestly say, I am really working hard at this!

So I started a blog.
I don't believe the things I have to say will interest anyone, or at least not too many people.. But I have had this idea in my head about starting a blog or vlog or YouTube channel for months. I feel like not only is it great outlet for thoughts and things, but you can look back and see what you were like, how you have or have not changed. It's like the modern day diary, although I miss my fuzzy, pink, sparkly one with the lock circa 1998. I was skeptical about having my actual picture... What if someone I know see's this? Do I care or don't I? I'm not sure yet.. I do know that this is already therapeutic, just typing things out. Deciding what thoughts of mine I actually believe, and care enough about to put out there.
